We are looking for volunteers to help make and serve free meals for kids every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from June 10- August 16.. You can help one day or many days – whatever works for you and your schedule. Volunteers are needed from 10:00-11:30 for meal packaging at St. Paul’s Church and from 11:30-12:30 for handing out meals at 7 sites throughout Lee County.

United Way of Lee County began serving summer meals in 2017. Changes to this year’s program, ‘Summer Eats” will allow for more children to benefit. Kids and teens will be able to get a grab and go meal from one of seven sites throughout Lee County. Meals will feature kid-friendly foods like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, crackers, granola bars, and fresh fruit.
