Think a 5K isn't for you. Think again.

A few years ago I set a goal for myself. Growing up as a "non-athlete", I never dreamt I'd ever want to run. Let alone run in front of people during a 5K. So, I decided to step out of my box and do a little training. I contacted an old grade school friend and soon enough I was running 3 or 4 miles at a time.  A month into it I ran the Depot Dash in Amboy. Although I didn't bring home any medals, I was proud of myself for completing the goal. I left that race feeling accomplished, heck I even felt like an athlete.
